Seasons

1. Just Imagine
Usa, a first-year in high school, is moving into the Kawai Complex after his parents have to move because of work. It's an old building, but Usa likes what he sees, until he finds out that he will be living in the same room as a perverted masochist (Shiro).

2. Is It?
It's a long holiday, but the unfortunate residents of the Kawai Complex have no plans. Usa is sitting around with nothing to do and Mayumi is moping around, but Shiro has a surprise for them.

3. Why
Usa has gotten used to life at the Kawai Complex, but he hasn't gotten any closer to the resident who's always on his mind, Ritsu. As Usa stresses over his lack of progress, life at the Kawai Complex goes on. One day, Mayumi's ex-boyfriend calls her. Despite the fact that he was three-timing her at one point, Mayumi decides to meet with him.

4. For Now
After being told by Sayaka that he can get Ritsu to open up, Usa decides to play dumb and go on the attack, convinced that he can save Ritsu from her loneliness. Soon after, he's passing by a book store when he witnesses Ritsu talking happily to friends from middle school.

5. Thought So
The Kawai Complex residents (really just Mayumi, Sayaka, and Shiro) are fooling around in the living room as usual. Amidst the chaos, Ritsu's lips and Usa's arm connect. Ritsu's face is bright red as she storms out of the room. The next morning, she is still noticeably unsettled, which Usa finds very endearing.

6. Could It Be?
The phone in the Kawai Complex rings. It's a call from the police station for Shiro. The residents think that he's finally being arrested, but that isn't the case (Whew). It turns out that the police have located the owner of the wallet he found earlier and the owner was coming to the Kawai Complex to thank him.

7. Recommended
One summer night, the Kawai Complex receives a notice that a flasher is on the loose. Sumiko is worried about Ritsu because of her tendency to be absorbed in a book as she walks around, so she forbids her from reading while walking back from school. A desperate Ritsu asks Usa to serve as her bodyguard.

8. Happideath
Usa is hired to work at a student houseboy cafe after his Freakshow Ringmaster abilities are put on full display. He is handed a nametag that says Anekouji and introduced to his co-workers who can be described as being a few billion light-years removed from normal. While he's on the job, he runs into his classmate Tagami who's on a group date. One of the members is Ghost Whisperer Hayashi, who's made a dramatic high school debut.

9. Forbidden
Mayumi once again is on the brink after a coworker flaunts her new boyfriend. Later, the Kawai residents are attacked by the most disturbing of insects, a centipede!

10. You Could Just Ignore It
After helping out at the cafe where Usa works, the residents of Kawai Complex sit down for tea, with the exception of Shiro, who stands outside in an attempt to get sunstroke. That is when Ghost Whisperer Hayashi appears. She's come to apologize for how she treated Usa previously.

11. Don't Have Any Friends
A girl with a round face and glasses suddenly shows up at the Kawai Complex. Her name is Tsuneda Miharu and she turns out to be Sayaka's friend, but Sayaka seems unhappy to see her. The reason soon becomes clear as Miharu turns out to be a box of Sayaka's weaknesses. She is immediately welcomed by the residents of Kawai Complex.

12. I Want to Get Closer
After approaching Ritsu in the library, Maemura has been following her everywhere. She invites Ritsu to an event for book lovers, but it turns out to be a mixer at a karaoke place. Back at the Kawai Complex, Sayaka mentions that she happened to see Ritsu by the station, and Usa begins to panic.
