Lt. Mumbly, a trenchcoat-wearing solver of crimes, didn't look or act very bright but always got his man anyway - even when the parts of his car were falling off all the time.

1. Fleetfeet Versus Flat Foot
Shnooker receives a letter from a thief named Fleetfeet Fogarty. Fleetfeet plans to steal the Minerva Medallion in a museum. Shnooker tells Mumbly to arrest the thief.

2. The Great Hot Car Heist
Mumbly is assigned to retrieve a new top-secret police vehicle that ends up being stolen.

3. The Magical Madcap Caper
Mumbly and Shnooker are assigned to guard people and their valuables at a mansion, where a magician named The Great Merlini is performing. Shnooker thinks that it is an easy job, but Mumbly is suspicious of Merlini.

4. The Big Breakout Bust
At Crabstone Prison every precaution has been taken to make it escape proof. But Breakout Barney stows away inside a trash can the guards put out, and proceeds to head to the border. Shnooker orders Mumbly to bring in Breakout Barney in 24 hours or "turn in your badge!"

5. The Return of Bing Bong
Mumbly is tasked with ending the rampage of an 80-foot gorilla in the city.

6. The Super-Dooper Super Cop
Shnooker hires a robot detective named Lieutenant Nuts and Bolts. Mumbly and Nuts and Bolts have to stop a cat burglar known as The Phantom Cat from robbing a safe. Shnooker tells them that the first detective to arrest the cat burglar will keep their job, and the other detective will lose their job.

7. The Big Ox Bust
Mumbly and Shnooker take a trip to Canada just as a giant lumberjack is terrorizing the forest.

8. The Great Graffiti Gambit
Graffooey the Great Graffiti Artist is covering Mumbly and Shnooker's city with graffiti! The detectives have to stop Graffooey before he causes even more damage to their city.

9. Taking Stock
A prize-winning bull is taken, setting Mumbly on the trail of The Lonesome Rustler.

10. The Littermugg
Shnooker’s TV interview is interrupted by a sudden deluge of litter, courtesy of The Littermugg. Chief Shnooker alerts the sanitation department, but even they are helpless to keep up with the numerous amounts of garbage left by Mr. Littermugg, so he assigns Mumbly to the case, giving him 24 hours to do so.

11. The Perils of the Purple Baron
The Purple Baron, a pilot who flies a biplane, has frozen all of the people in Mumbly and Shnooker's city by using his immobiliser beam! Mumbly was not affected by the beam, and he notices that no one is moving when driving to the police headquarters. Shnooker is frozen, but he left a message for Mumbly on a tape recorder. Shnooker tells Mumbly that Purple Baron shoplifts and robs people of their money while they are immobilized, and the dog detective has to stop him.

12. The Fatbeard the Pirate Fracas
Fatbeard the pirate invades a cruise ship, causing havoc. Mumbly is sent to capture and remove him.

13. The Big Snow Foot Snow Job
Shnooker’s ski vacation is spoiled by the sudden appearance of a creature scaring everyone away from the lodge.

14. Sherlock's Badder Brudder
Mumbly and Shnooker want to see the launch of a rocket going to Mars. However, two criminals named Hemlock and Alfie are after them.

15. The UFO's a No-No
Aliens arrive to invade Earth, and Shnooker tasks Mumbly with giving them a parking ticket and collecting the fine.

16. Hyde and Seek
Mumbly investigates a disturbance at Dr. Seek’s lab where he discovers Dr. Seek’s new soda formula turns him into the insidious Mr. Hyde.

One day, Atsushi was suddenly told by his close friend Masa that Aota Niina has been abducted. Aota Niina is a female student from Seiryu Gakuen, and is someone whom Masa fell in love with at first sight. Atsushi went to Masa's apartment and found Niina being tied up. After hearing that the school's number one delinquent Ushijima would be arriving, Atsuhi quickly escaped the apartment with Niina. After that incident, Atsushi told Niina that the culprit was Ushijima, not Masa. However, due to trauma, Niina could not sleep at night and told Atsushi to take responsibility by becoming her bodyguard.

Tales of Tomorrow
Tales of Tomorrow is an American anthology science fiction series that was performed and broadcast live on ABC from 1951 to 1953. The series covered such stories as Frankenstein, starring Lon Chaney, Jr., 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea starring Thomas Mitchell as Captain Nemo, and many others featuring such performers as Boris Karloff, Brian Keith, Lee J. Cobb, Rod Steiger, Bruce Cabot, Franchot Tone, Gene Lockhart, Walter Abel, Leslie Nielsen, and Paul Newman. The series had many similarities to the later Twilight Zone which also covered one of the same stories, "What You Need". In total it ran for eighty-five 30-minute episodes.
