1. Episode 1

An attractive young man, Caleb, visits the Museum and meets its Director General, Della Howells. She succumbs completely to him, and they embark on a passionate affair.

2. Bodies of Knowledge

As Della starts her new job as the Museum's General Manager, her relationship with her son's friend, Caleb, intensifies. But what are Caleb's intentions? Why is he pursuing a relationship with both mother and son?

3. The BM Goes East

Della's relationship with Caleb is intensifying and a morning visit to Caleb's house has developed into a habit. But how long will the lovers be able to keep their affair a secret?

4. Bursting at the Seams

A look at ongoing restorations, repairs and upgrades being made to the 250-year-old British Museum.

5. Episode 5

In the penultimate episode of the series, Della's life takes a major turn for the worse. Having quarrelled with Sadie, her best friend seeks out Elfryn, who confides to her that he's made a major discovery regarding the authenticity of one of the Museum's most valuable paintings.

6. Episode 6

In the final thrilling episode of the series, Della's life is in tatters. Having betrayed her husband and son, she decides to leave the marital home - but not before making a startling discovery.
