The Blue Djinn tells Bastian that he must find a Tarkus flower found on the Dead Mountains, where no one has returned from, that might help him before the Luck Dragon dies, but has an encounterment with a spider creature called Ygramul, the horror of horrors along the way.

Xayide has emptied Yor's mine on memory pictures.

Bastian travels through Perilin the Night Forest and Goab the Desert of Color, and he meets Grograman the Fire Lion. When Grograman is captured by Xayide, Perilin starts to grow all over Fantasia.

Engywook's treasure is stolen. Bastian, Engywook and Urgl chase Blondycat and his 3-headed assistant Troll over the Sea of Mist.

Bastian, Atreyu and Atreyu's sister Saiya must destroy the evil shaman's staff.

Bastian and Large Head must check out stories about a monster in the Misty Mountains.

Bastian and Barktroll are deceived by Xayide's ally Axin.

The three magic stones are stolen by Xayide.

Shadow Goblin and Vermin find the lost Belt of Invisibility and they use it to steal stuff.

Bastian and Barktroll compete in the race. The first racer back to the Ivory Tower is the winner. However, Shadow Goblin and Vermin try to win the race by cheating and sabotage.

In search for a gift for Father's Day, Bastian goes to the bottom of the Sea of Mist to search for the Lost Paintings of Moldy Moore, but Shadow Goblin and Vermin are not far behind.
