Botswana's No.1 Ladies' Detective Agency is in desperate need of clients. To boost business, Mma Makutsi prints up flyers, which seem to do the trick. Mma Ramotswe soon finds herself hunting down an absconding apostolic, finding a disappearing dog, and checking up on a definitely disturbed dentist.
2. Poison
Mma Ramotswe finds herself investigating a case of ivory smuggling when she is asked to investigate the behaviour of Rra Lisindi. Mma Makutsi takes a look at some mysterious deaths at Tlokweng Hospital.
3. The Boy with an African Heart
Mma Ramotswe attempts to help Mrs Curtin discover what has happened to his son as he has been missing for 10 years. Mma Makutsi attempts to find out who is responsible for the Kgale hill break-ins.
4. Problems in Moral Philosophy
Mma Pekwane suspects her husband has bought a stolen car, so Mma Ramotswe gets on the case.
5. Beauty and Integrity
Mma Makutsi is asked to investigate the behaviour of some of the contestants at a local beauty pageant. Mma Ramotswe tries to find out what has happened to Nandira Patel's boyfriend who has disappeared. A new local agency goes head to head with the ladies.
6. A Real Botswana Diamond
The agency is broken into following a spate of robberies in Kgale Hill. Mma Ramotswe and JLB Matekoni's engagement isn't going as planned and she is forced to face her demons before she can move on.
