The Player
An action-packed Las Vegas thriller about a former military operative turned security expert who is drawn into a high-stakes game where an organization of wealthy individuals gamble on his ability to stop some of the biggest crimes imaginable from playing out. Seasons
Alex Kane, a Las Vegas security consultant, becomes The Player when he is thrown into a world of secret high-stakes gambling in which he must stop crimes before they are perpetrated. An anonymous group of powerful and affluent individuals bet on whether Kane can prevent these crimes. Kane is allowed limited assistance from the dealer, Charity Wakefield, and kept in check by the pit boss, Mr. Johnson.

1. Pilot
Special op turned security expert, Alex Kane, is unable to catch his ex-wife Ginny's murderer. In searching for justice Kane crosses paths with a shadowy organization, called the House, led by Mr. Johnson and Cassandra King. Kane reluctantly joins forces with the elite organization whose members bet on whether he can stop future crimes.

2. Ante Up
Alex Kane is sent to stop a diamond heist and runs into an old colleague that wants information. Mr. Johnson and Cassandra King intervene and threaten to call off the bets. Finally, Kane attends Ginny's funeral and uncovers some shocking evidence about her murder.

3. L.A. Takedown
Alex enlists a friend to investigate Ginny's murder even further, but Mr. Johnson intervenes. Meanwhile, Kane and Cassandra head to the city of angels to stop a sniper from executing a drug cartel's plan for revenge. Detective Brown assists the FBI in an investigation regarding missing ex-special ops in Vegas.

4. The Big Blind
Detective Brown uncovers the truth about a hit man and in turn arrests Alex's client. Alex continues to look for clues regarding Ginny's murder with the help of Mr. Johnson, but Cassandra is one step ahead of them with her own agenda.

5. House Rules
Savvy student Solomon attempts to hack the Pentagon and ends up simultaneously being chased by the Chinese government and the House. The bets are in on whether Alex Kane can get to him first to keep him safe. Meanwhile, Mr. Johnson is encountering issues of his own with an old friend and is forced to take drastic measures. Also, new discoveries are made about Ginny's whereabouts.

6. The Norseman
After discovering some unnerving news, the House bets on whether Alex Kane can stop a serial killer from striking before Halloween. Meanwhile, Det. Brown is hot on Cassandra's tail and Mr. Johnson intervenes.

7. A House Is Not a Home
Alex Kane attempts to stop an enraged father from avenging his family's troubles. Cassandra discovers the location of the next attack and sends Kane to intercept. Meanwhile, Mr. Johnson has ulterior motives for traveling to Chicago.

8. Downtown Odds
After an attack on a truckload of drugs and cash, the House sends Alex Kane to stop the violence between the gangs. Mr. Johnson has a conversation with Cassandra about her priorities. Meanwhile, Agent Rose Nolan is in hot pursuit of the truth about the House.

9. Tell
Alex receives a major clue about Ginny's disappearance and teams up with Cassandra to make sure that his next assignment might actually lead him to his ex-wife. Knowing that Mr. Johnson can't be trusted, they know that they have a limited time before he might sabotage this mission. Meanwhile agents Cal Brown and Rose Nolan make a major breakthrough and are able to identify someone who works for the house.
