The Trades
In a blue-collar community where the high stress of working in a refinery is balanced by the comedic high-wire antics of its plant workers, The Trades centres around pipefitter Todd and his sister and roommate, Audrey, who follows in her big brother’s footsteps pursuing a career in the trades as a carpenter, just like their father Rod.

1. The German Robot
Todd works overtime to get a new robotic welding arm up and running to improve the refinery’s productivity. Audrey debates joining the “family business.” And an incident at work opens a job in management, reigniting Todd’s leadership aspirations.
2. The New Boss
Todd’s crew gives him a makeover to help him dress for the job he wants. His odds at a promotion look promising when head office sends hot-shot executive Chelsea to the refinery. And Audrey potentially blows her chances at joining the trades when she tries to save her big bro from humiliation.
3. Sensitivity Training
Audrey starts her first day on the job and is all too eager to influence the nickname the crew will choose for her. Todd and Chelsea kick their rivalry into high gear as they attempt to sabotage each other under the watchful eye of a sensitivity trainer.
4. The Labour Day Parade
For the first time ever, the refinery is allowed two floats in the Labour Day parade, activating a fierce competition to win best Imperial Valley float design. Will there be a winner, or will protesting environmental groups disrupt their celebrations?
5. Medhi Is Partied Out
After a long night of partying, Medhi inadvertently creates a sh*tstorm at the refinery when a stowaway wreaks havoc. Negative PR from the parade leads Chelsea to share head office’s plans for Imperial Valley with Todd, they’ll need to work together to find a way to change their minds.
6. The Golf Tourney
It’s Conch Industries’ annual golf tournament and Todd and crew are hitting the links! Medhi makes an industry-revolutionizing discovery that has Chelsea and Todd cooking up a plan to present the invention to her boss—but not everyone is as excited as they are.
7. The Piss Test
Todd works with the team to try and meet the impossible deadline set by head office. Medhi sobers up at rehab while everyone at the refinery is hoping to pass a mandatory urine test.
8. Just the (Flare) Tip
The pressure is on as Todd and his team work to get the flare stack up and running. With some extra help from old friends, they just might be able to pull it off, saving the refinery and their little industry town. But at what cost?
