The Uninvited Guests
Walter Peterson, a well-known small-town actor, was found dead after the party in a remote guest house. Due to the fact that no one is willing to talk about what really happened on the night of the birthday, two investigators from different generations are assigned to the case and discover that all of the witnesses were lying.

1. Happy birthday
At dawn, the body of 27-year-old Valters Pētersons is found in the forest near the guesthouse. All those who attended Valter's birthday party become suspects. Investigator Richard Eversons gets a chance to return to police work. Still, he will have to work with a young and ambitious investigator Oskars, who wants to make the world a better place. It is unexpectedly revealed that at midnight, uninvited guests also arrived at the guesthouse, about whom all the witnesses do not want to say anything.
2. Bitter
Oskars discovers that Richard has not shown up for work because he has started drinking again, so he continues the investigation alone. Unexpectedly, Oskars learns what happened at the guesthouse and how the escape took place. Oskars' mother arrives in Kandava. A shocking turn of events takes place at Leila's wedding.
3. BAH
Oskars and Richards learn about what happened at Leila's wedding. Eva comes to the police station to return the disc she found at Ralph's. Valters Pētersons' funeral takes place. What was the well-liked and beloved actor in the small town really like?
4. Man in a mask
Rita convinces Oskar to invite his boss Richard to lunch, but the meeting doesn't go as planned. Another "skeleton in the closet" is revealed for one of the partygoers. Richard and Oskar finally manage to catch one of the uninvited guests.

Richard interrogates Arthur and uncovers new information about the uninvited guests. Oskars and Richard head to a small-town theater, where they talk to Walter's former theater colleagues. New secrets about the party guests are revealed.

Richard and Oskars find out who the organizer was. Richard goes to talk to Rita, but the meeting with Oskars' mother turns out differently than planned. Oskars' surprising discovery could help answer the question of who killed Valters Pētersons.
