We witness the birth of a baby giraffe as he crashes onto the ground and struggles to stand up. Plus, a boisterous white rhino calf creates chaos, and some baby meerkats try sentry duty.
2. Episode 2
A baby gorilla tries to escape the clutches of his protective mother so he can learn how to climb. Meanwhile, a baby alpaca copies everything that his mother does, including bizarre behaviour like rolling around in the dirt!
3. Episode 3
American alligator hatchlings get their first taste of meat and learn to hunt. Meanwhile, a baby African elephant struggles to get control of his trunk, and adventurous grey seal pups go exploring.
4. Episode 4
A rejected lamb learns to make friends with other farmyard animals, a baby Malayan tapir shows off his extraordinary spotty coat, and a baby armadillo is too shy to come out of her shell.
5. Episode 5
An elephant calf discovers how to trumpet and to charge anything that looks suspicious. Meanwhile, some orphaned baby hares that have grown up in a rescue centre are released back into the wild.
6. Episode 6
A grey seal pup, close to starvation, is rescued and nursed back to health in preparation for a return to the sea. Meanwhile, a boisterous white rhino discovers a new use for his horn.
