The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss
The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss is an American live-action/puppet television series based on characters created by Dr. Seuss, produced by Jim Henson Productions. It aired for two seasons on the Nick Jr. Block on Nickelodeon. For the first few episodes, the show aired during Sunday night prime time, immediately before Nick News. It also premiered on PBS from January 12, 1998 until May 25, 2002. It is notable for its use of live puppets with digitally animated backgrounds, and in its first season, for refashioning characters and themes from the original Dr. Seuss books into new stories that often retained much of the flavor of Dr. Seuss's own works. It derives its name from wubble, a type of unicycle mentioned in the Dr. Seuss book I Had Trouble in Getting to Solla Sollew.
Seasons

1. The Gink
When Eliza Jane gets to choose a pet, she wants something special, so the Cat in the Hat offers her a Gink (a cross between a gunk and a skink). Taking care of the Gink proves to be quite a challenge, but the real challenge comes when Eliza has to choose between keeping her new friend and returning him back to the jungle and his family.
2. Who Are You, Sue Snue?
It's Sue Snue's 11 ½ birthday, and tradition decrees that she decide what she wants to do for the rest of her life (or else eat her hat). Her four uncles want her to follow in their footsteps, but when she does, she keeps messing everything up.
3. The King's Beard
King Lindy of Lime has a beard so long that no one knows just how long it is. Yertle the Turtle, the King's trusted advisor, suggests that a young jester named Elwood be sent to measure the beard. Of course, wacky hijinks ensue when Elwood meets up with King Noogle, Princess Mindy, and King Noogle's trusted advisor...Yertle?
4. The Song of the Zubble-Wump
The priceless Zubble-Wump egg has been in Megan Mullally's family for as long as anyone can remember, so when the Grinch steals it, she sets off with Horton to get it back. The egg is on the verge of hatching, and no one may get to hear the Zubble-Wump's exquisite song unless Megan and the Grinch stop being so greedy.
5. The Guest
Larry Nooly and his family are going to the Lodge at beautiful Lake Mulloon, the most perfectly happy place you can possibly imagine. That is, of course, until the Grinch checks in and everyone else checks out...except Larry.
6. The Simplifier
Harried Dad Tidbiddle is a remarkably busy man with no time to spare, so when the Cat in the Hat tries to sell him a ""Simplify-Your-Life-Machine,"" Dad is immediately smitten. Too smitten, it seems, because the more Dad keeps ""upgrading"" his new device, the less time he has to spend with his forgotten family.
7. The Snoozer
The beloved Snoozer statue is missing, and there is only one suspect: Yertle the Turtle. Jane Kangaroo is convinced that Yertle is guilty, and when Horton the Elephant comes to his defense, Jane assumes that they are in cahoots. So what happened to the statue? It didn't just get up and walk away, did it?
8. Mrs. Zarbarelli's Holiday Baton
Mrs. Zabarelli has been in charge of the town's Jingle Day Pageant for 49 years, but this year, she's put the show in the hands of her young student, Annie DeLoo. One by one the frustrated cast leaves until only Annie, Horton the Elephant and his son Morton are left to put on the pageant and make the sun rise on Jingle Day.
9. The Mystery of Winna-Bango Falls
When Jane Kangaroo insists that the citizens of Lake Winna-Bango cease sliding around on Fruzzle-Floom Fruit peels and instead discard them, the mighty waterfall mysteriously stops falling. It's up to our hero, Thidwick the Big-Hearted Moose, to piece together the ecological chain and restore the water source.
10. Almost There
Fox in Socks and Mr. Knox have won a free trip to far-off Gazir! However, they must first claim their prize at the bureaucratic Travel Center, where they must endure Yertle the Turtle, dozens of civil servants, and worst of all, the Travel Poobah.
11. Oh, the People You'll Meet
It's moving day, and no one is more bummed than Julian Jeremy Jaroo Jalloo. But when the Cat in the Hat appears, Julian is whisked away on a magical elevator ride to meet all (or as many as we can meet in 24 minutes) of the interesting and whimsical people who may be in his future.
12. The Blag-Bludder Beast
The people of Troomph are the most frightened people around, and their biggest fear is the oft- discussed-but-never-seen Blag-Bludder Beast. So when Yertle unknowingly ""conquers"" this mythical creature, he has the Troomphians in the palm of his little webbed hand.
13. The Muckster
The ""House and Home Show"" is coming to feature the super-tidy Jane Kangaroo, but young Junior has made their house an absolute mess. Enter the Cat in the Hat with the mighty Muckster, a cleaning machine that gets more powerful with each click of its dial (but never turn it to 6!). Jane naturally obeys the law of comedy, and nuttiness ensues as she turns the dial...
14. Norval the Great
Binkham Tamino McDoyal the Third (but everyone calls him Binky) spins a mighty yarn about the many adventures he has had with his amazing goldfish, Norval. Of course, such tall tales couldn't possibly be true, could they?
15. Max the Hero
Max, the Grinch's dog, has saved a baby's life and won the hearts of everyone. Mayor Stovepipe invites the new hero to live in the mayoral mansion, leaving the Grinch alone, interviewing new candidates for a pet and not missing Max at all...maybe.
16. The Road To Ka-Larry
Sue Snue is sent on an important mission: to deliver a box filled with precious gifts to Regina, the Queen of Ka-Larry. With Fox in Socks and Mr. Knox as her escorts, she must do whatever it takes to get the box to the Queen...even if it means getting there with a slightly lighter box.
17. Yertle the King
Yertle's Aunt Myrtle (a bona-fide queen!) has left Yertle temporarily in charge of her kingdom while she is away. Big mistake.
18. Horton Has a Hit
When Yertle hears Horton singing a lullaby to Morton, he knows that Horton has what it takes to make it to the top (and to take Yertle with him). Horton must leave the suddenly-popular Morton in the care of his Uncle Norton as he goes on tour. Is all of the fame and fortune worth it?
19. The Birthday Moose
Thidwick is so excited...it's his birthday, and just like every other year, the Birthday Bird will take him (and all of the other birthday celebrants) to Katroo for a huge party. But when word comes that the Birthday Bird is unable to make it this year, Thidwick decides to take charge and lead everyone to Katroo himself...disguised as the Birthday Bird!
20. The Grinch Meets His Max / Halfway Home To Malamaroo
The Cat in the Hat has left Little Cats A, B, and C alone with a nifty storytelling machine, and when they insert a backscratcher, they hear the story of how the Grinch and his dog Max came to be friends. When they insert a half-eaten cake, they are told the story of Alvin, an alien from Malamaroo. Alvin is as sweet as can be, but he drives Jane, Junior, and Thidwick crazy when he never finishes what he starts -- including his trip home!

Created by Mo Willems, the bulk of the show follows a runaway sheep, Sheep, in its new life in "the Big City".
