Themis no Futashika na Hotei

Judge Ando (Matsuyama Kenichi) has been assigned to the First Branch of the Maebashi District Court. As a child, he was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) by psychiatrist Yamaji (Wakui Emi), and has been hiding his symptoms from those around him. One day, a case of assault occurs in which the mayor is attacked. The defendant, Ezawa Takuro (Kobayashi Toranosuke), was supposed to plead guilty, but at the first hearing he suddenly denies the charges. Feeling uneasy about this sudden change, Ando begins to investigate the truth of the matter while struggling with the impulses caused by his symptoms.

Onozaki (Narumi Yui) is assigned to defend Kurita Nao (Yamatoki Satoshi), a high school basketball player involved in an assault case. At first, he believes Kurita's claim of self-defense, but becomes suspicious of the witness's testimony and heads to the scene to investigate. There, he happens to encounter Ando (Matsuyama Kenichi), a judge who is being treated as a suspicious person. The two arrive at the same question, but what awaits them is a truth unfavorable to the defendant, Kurita. Onozaki is torn between protecting his client's interests and defending the truth.

Sakuma, a driver for Yamimi Transport, is killed in an accident on the job, involving a passerby. His daughter, Eri Shinomiya (Ao Ito), files a civil lawsuit against the company, claiming that excessive work was the cause, but the company claims Sakuma was negligent. Shinomiya's lawyer, Hozumi (Mirai Yamamoto), has high hopes for the leadership of the case from Judge Kadokura (Kenichi Endo), known as the "legendary rebel." Meanwhile, Ando (Kenichi Matsuyama) begins to wonder whether he should continue as a judge after a mistake caused by his own personality affects the trial.
