I love Shane and after the first episode I was concerned this wouldn't live up to expectations -- but then the second and especially third+ episodes they really hit their stride. My one note would maybe be that they did a questionable job casting the 'dad' figure, who is revealed in the season finale. His appearance and demeanor don't really comport with who he was built up to be.
