Takemichi Hanagaki is a freelancer that’s reached the absolute pits of despair in his life. He finds out that the only girlfriend he ever had, in middle school, Hinata Tachibana, had been killed by the ruthless Tokyo Manji Gang. The day after hearing about her death, he’s standing on the station platform and ends up being pushed over onto the tracks by a herd of people. He closes his eyes thinking he’s about to die, but when he opens his eyes back up, he somehow had gone back in time 12 years. Now that he’s back living the best days of his life, Takemichi decides to get revenge on his life.

1. Reborn
Hanagaki Takemichi is a worthless part-time worker who's down in the dumps. Takemichi is shocked by news that his ex-girlfriend was killed, but goes about his daily life when he is suddenly pushed onto the railroad tracks.

2. Resist
Takemichi returns to the present after shaking hands with Naoto and is reunited with Naoto who is now a police officer. Naoto asks Takemichi to go back in time and prevent the two leaders of the Tokyo Manji Gang from meeting.

3. Resolve
In order to protect his friend Yamamoto Takuya who's a bit frail, Takemichi challenges Kiyomasa to a fight. Despite being beaten to a pulp, Takemichi doesn't back down, which starts to make Kiyomasa panic. Then, the commander and vice commander of the Tokyo Manji Gang, Sano Manjiro, AKA Mikey, and Ryuguji Ken, AKA Draken show up.

4. Return
Takemichi gets to enjoy some happy times with Hinata back during their middle school days but then he is suddenly sent back to the present.

5. Releap
Takemichi renews his determination as he goes back in time yet again, but when he opens his eyes, he finds a girl he doesn't know wearing just her underwear looking down on him.

6. Regret
Because Pah-chin's friend was brutally attacked by Moebius, the Tokyo Manji Gang decides they're going to fight Moebius. According to Naoto, Draken doesn't die because of the conflict with Moebius, but rather, an internal conflict between the Tokyo Manji Gang. Takemichi returns to the present to talk to Osanai, the leader of Moebius, to find out what really happened that day.

7. Revive
Takemichi goes back to the past and tries to stop the upcoming conflict between the Tokyo Manji Gang and Moebius, but Mikey and Pah-chin refuse to change their minds. Meanwhile, Osanai barges in with members of Moebius to launch a surprise attack. Pah-chin challenges Osanai to a one-on-one, but Osanai is two years older than him and beats him to a pulp. Despite this, Mikey doesn't interfere and just keeps watching it happen...

8. Rechange
After the attack initiated by the head of Moebius, Mikey and Draken end up at odds with each other and then go visit Takemichi, who was injured. Takemichi is infuriated when the two of them end up fighting and destroying a bunch of his precious belongings. Akkun and the others try to stop him, but Takemichi ends up in tears, saying how much Toman means to him. His words get to Mikey and Draken and it seems like the mission was a success because of their reconciliation, but...

9. Revolt
After receiving some information from Naoto, Takemichi goes to the parking lot where Draken is supposed to die. He finds Draken taking on Moebius all on his own. Takemichi and Mitsuya try to help Draken, but they are overwhelmed by the number of Moebius members. It was then the person behind the "Draken hunting" showed himself.

10. Rerise
While the battle between Toman and Moebius led by their current leader, Hanma Shuji, is raging on, Draken ends up being stabbed by Kiyomasa. Mikey tries to get to Draken who is gravely injured, but Hanma keep getting in his way. Mikey then asks Takemichi to take care of him instead. While they're waiting for an ambulance, Kiyomasa and his thugs get in their way. In order to protect Draken, Takemichi challenges Kiyomasa one on one to settle things with him once and for all.

11. Respect
Takemichi manages to defeat Kiyomasa in their one-on-one by sheer tenacity and with the help of Akkun and the others, they're able to protect Draken until they can get him to the ambulance. However, Draken is still unconscious. Meanwhile, The fight between Toman and Moebius came to an end. As he leaves, Hanma warns Mikey of the creation of Valhalla and the fact that he's the vice commander of this new gang.

12. Revenge
After saving Draken's life, Takemichi returns to the future to find that Akkun made his dreams to become a hairstylist come true and the accident caused by Toman that killed Hina never happened. After reuniting with Naoto, he finds out that Hina is alive, and they go to see her. Right before they're supposed to see her, Takemichi starts having some doubts because he's embarrassed at the fact that he hadn't changed at all and suddenly says he doesn't want to see her.

13. Odds and Ends
After Hinata's funeral, Takemichi tells a grieving Naoto what he plans to do next. Why did the same future happen even though Draken remained by Mikey's side? Takemichi decides he wants to go see Draken and ask him himself, but they find out that he's no longer in Toman in this world and is on death row.

14. Break up
The Tokyo Manji Gang welcomed a new captain for their Third Division and it happened to be the former member of Moebius, Kisaki. Some members raise their doubts, but Mikey explains that they need Kisaki's strength to face their new threat, Valhalla. But Takemichi knew that Kisaki is the reason that Toman slowly turned evil and Hina and Akkun lost their lives, so he just can't hold back, and...

15. No Pain, No Gain
Mikey asks Takemichi to bring the former First Division Captain Baji Keisuke from Valhalla. Mikey agrees to make Kisaki leave Toman if Takemichi is successful in this mission, but he also threatens to kill him if he fails. As Takemichi receives a lecture about Valhalla from Yamagishi who is knowledgeable about delinquents, Valhalla's No. 3 Hanemiya Kazutora appears before them.

16. Once upon a time
2 years ago, Mikey, Draken, Baji, Mitsuya, Pah-chin, and Kazutora had their gang uniforms made and they all took a trip to Kanagawa on their motorcycles. Meanwhile, their commander Mikey rode his moped, Street Hawk. They get surrounded by a local biker gang, but Mikey shows no fear and tells the older gang members that he'll kill them if they lay a finger on his Street Hawk.

17. No way
Takemichi finds out about Baji and Kazutora's past and realizes how hard it's going to be to bring Baji back to Toman. The next day, Takemichi was trying to figure out what to do about his promise to Mikey when Baji's second in command, Matsuno Chifuyu appears before him. Chifuyu seems to believe that Baji joined Valhalla not to crush Toman, but to infiltrate Valhalla and expose Kirisaki.

18. Open Fire
Back in present day, Draken tells Takemichi that Kazutora ends up killing Baji at the Bloody Halloween, the fight against Toman and Valhalla, and Mikey ends up killing Kazutora. Because of that, Mikey falls into darkness, and Toman is taken over by Valhalla, which leads to the evil organization that it currently is now, led by Kisaki. Takemichi goes back to the past with a new mission: to protect Baji so that this tragedy doesn't happen.

19. Turn around
The Bloody Halloween conflict that results in Toman being taken over by Valhalla has finally begun. Hanma and his army of delinquents overwhelm Toman as Draken does his best to try to protect the other Toman members, putting him at a disadvantage. However, the Toman members see how desperately Takemichi is trying to save Baji and Mikey, lighting their fighting spirits once more.

20. Dead or Alive
During the Bloody Halloween, Mikey ended up in a 1v3 fight against Kagetora with his limbs bound. After Kazutora hits him in the head with a pipe, Mikey ends up on his knees. The Valhalla members see this as a chance to finish off the Invincible Mikey and try to get to him. Draken and Takemichi try to save Mikey, but they're too far away. But then, a rather surprising person came to Mikey's aid.

21. One and only
Baji had infiltrated Valhalla so that he could get to Kisaki. And after a fierce battle, he manages to get to Kisaki, but coughs up blood and falls to the ground. Mikey sees this and takes Hanma out in a second and starts mercilessly punching Kazutora over and over. This was the scene that the future Draken had told Takemichi about. At this rate, Mikey will end up killing Kazutora, Kisaki will take over Toman, and the tragic future will still occur. Takemichi tries to stop him, but Mikey's rage is just too great, and...

22. One for all
Two years ago, Mikey learns that Kazutora is beefing with the motorcycle gang, the Black Dragons, and decides he'd fight them as well. But he wanted a valid sense of purpose to take on a motorcycle gang. Baji then suggests they make their own motorcycle gang. They want to create a gang where they can all put their lives down on the line for each other. Baji had been fighting all alone to protect the promise they made the day they created their gang and put their money together to buy a traffic safety charm.

23. End of war
The conflict between Toman and Valhalla dubbed the Bloody Halloween ends in Toman's victory, but Baji is killed and Kazutora is arrested. Takemichi is regretful about the fact that he wasn't able to do much, but they managed to avoid Mikey killing Kazutora. After going with Draken to visit Kazutora, they head over to Draken's home.

24. A Cry Baby
Takemichi heads to his first Toman meeting wearing his jacket and is surprised to see the vice commander of Valhalla, Hanma, and Chifuyu standing next to Mikey. Not only that, but he finds out that it was Kisaki Tetta who arranged all of this. Takemichi falls into despair when he realizes he wasn't able to change the future again despite Baji sacrificing his own life to protect Toman. And then, Chifuyu says...

25. It Is What It Is
Back in the present, Takemichi is stunned to learn that he has become officer in Toman. Kisaki seizes an opportunity to dupe him, and Takemichi finds himself staring down the barrel of a gun.

26. Gotta Go
Back in the past, Takemichi meets Hakkai and Yuzuha Shiba and forms a friendly bond. On the way to the Shiba's home, a chance meeting with Black Dragon turns violent.

27. Stand Alone
Takemichi is beaten to a pulp by Taiju Shiba. In order to save Takemichi, Hakkai proposes a bargain to Taiju.

28. Family Bonds
Disaster is avoided when Hakkai offers to join Black Dragon. However, Mitsuya will not allow Hakkai to leave Toman, and confronts Taiju.

29. Christmas Eve
Kisaki and Hanma offer their help to Takemichi and Chifuyu in the rescue of Hakkai and destroying Black Dragon. Takemichi and Chifuyu come to a decision.

30. Whip Up Morale
Propelled by each their own motives, the alliance members head to the church on Christmas night.

31. Sibling Rivalry
Yuzuha's surprise attack on Taiju misses its mark. Takemichi realizes Yuzuha is the key to changing the future, so he gets back into the fight.

32. Strive Together
Mitsuya arrives at the church, but is seriously injured in a surprise attack. Finding himself in another pinch, Takemichi gathers himself and makes a bold declaration regarding the future of Black Dragon. Though Taiju continues to beat him down, Takemichi keeps getting back up to face him again.

33. Dawning of a New Era
After revealing his secret, Hakkai overcomes his fear of his brother and faces down Taiju with Takemichi. Just when defeat looks imminent, the familiar sound of a bike engine heralds Mikey's arrival at the church. However, something seems odd about him.

34. The Light of My Life
After defeating Black Dragon, Takemichi finds himself being taken by Mikey to Hina's place, to face the girl he broke up with just the day before.

35. On My Way Home
After declaring victory over Black Dragon at Tokyo Manji Gang's first meeting of the year, Mikey makes an unexpected announcement.

36. Last Order
Certain that he has changed the future, Takemichi returns to the present. However, the timeline he returns to is the worst one yet.

37. When It Rains, It Pours
Takemichi returns to the past to change the horrific new timeline. After meeting Chifuyu, Takemichi realizes what he must do.

38. The Longest Day
Set on crushing Toman, Yokohama gang Tenjiku ambushes Takemichi and his friends in Shibuya. The situation turns desperate for Takemichi when an old foe and one of Tenjiku’s Big Four show up.

39. Mortal Enemy
Smiley and Angry, Captain and Vice-Captain of Fourth Division, come to the rescue of Takemichi and his friends. To get revenge, they head to Tenjiku's hideout, where Takemichi encounters a childhood friend who gives him some disturbing information.

40. Run Out of Patience
Back in the present, Takemichi and Naoto meet up with Taiju Shiba and learn who is essentially leading Toman. Then Inupi and Koko suddenly barge in there. Takemichi and Naoto try to make their escape but end up jumping from the frying pan into the fire.

41. Come Back to Life
Depressed over the tragedy in the present, Takemichi's resolve is rekindled by the words of Hinata. He then learns the connection between Mikey and Izana, and just as the rest of the First Division shows up to talk about their next steps, they get a surprise visit from another Toman captain.

42. A Bad Hunch
Battered and bloody, Takemichi shows what he is truly made of by resisting an S-62 Generation member to protect Koko. After witnessing Takemichi's heroism, Inupi makes an unbelievable request. Later, Takemichi reports to Mikey about the betrayal by a Toman captain.

43. Rise Against
Mikey falls into despair after a tragic incident. Takemichi too is devastated and becomes hopeless as he realizes there is nothing he can do anymore to change the past. Who will lead Toman now?

44. Turn the Tide
While Tenjiku waits at a Yokohama pier with their Big Four ready to do battle, the members of Toman flinch at entering into the seemingly hopeless battle that awaits them. With their top two absent, Mikey and Draken, Takemichi tries to fire up Toman.

45. I Know in My Head
As the brawl between Toman and Tenjiku gets underway, First Division does its best to clear a path so Takemichi can make his way to Kisaki. Amid the battle, Inupi utters a single name that enrages Koko.

46. The Blue Ogre
Sorely missing the presence of Mikey and Draken, Takemichi and the other members of Toman face a monumental struggle against Tenjiku. The Haitani Brothers including one of Tenjiku's Big Four work in magnificent combination. Hakkai and Angry must figure out how to overcome this formidable pair.

47. Brave Heart
The battle between Toman and Tenjiku seesaws back and forth, but one by one, Toman's toughest fighters are no longer able to carry on. Yet Takemichi keeps getting back up no matter how many times Kakucho beats him down. Kisaki then steps in trying to end things, but Takemichi does not flinch.

48. Nothing is Left
Mikey and Draken show up at the pier, though they should be in the depths of despair. Now Mikey confronts his brother Izana, and the battle between the leaders of Toman and Tenjiku begins.

49. Paradise Lost
Izana appears to be dominating in his fight against Mikey, but Mikey's kicks take a toll on Izana's body too. Out of desperation, Izana takes rash measures and the situation gets out of control.

50. Meet His Fate
With the situation coming to a close, Izana makes a surprising confession, and Hanma and Kisaki make their escape. Fearing that Kisaki will continue to threaten the future, Takemichi and Draken go after them in the falling snow.
