Deploying for the first time, pilot Ben faces a life-or-death decision over Syria, while Lossiemouth's station warrant officer prepares for one of the biggest events on the military calendar.

3. Episode 3

RAF Lossiemouth's new surveillance team take off as a Russian warship is spotted close to the UK's vital pipelines.

4. Episode 4

High over Syria, young pilot Buzz encounters a Russian aircraft just as his wingman suffers a cockpit emergency. In Estonia, another broken jet risks leaving NATO's frontline undefended against Russia.

5. Episode 5

Station Commander Jim wants his wings back. After 33 years of service, Warrant Officer Dave prepares to retire at the Battle of Britain dinner. But breaking news puts plans on hold.

6. Episode 6

Junior pilot Moz must overcome his nerves to help tackle the Russian threat on NATO's aerial front line. And Poseidon trainee Ross faces the biggest test of his RAF career.
