Victoria Ruffo and Christian Meier will star as the adult protagonist, Ariadne Díaz and Mane de la Parra will star as the young protagonists, while Brandon Peniche will star as the main antagonist.

This telenovela has a blend of new talents and with figures of extense experience in the television, and it began filming scenes in locations in the states of Quintana Roo and Veracruz on September 20, 2007. Misión S.O.S

The story follows the life of Diana, a pre-teen who lives in a neighborhood called Buenaventura. Diana and Christian, who has just moved to Mexico due to his parents' divorce, quickly become best friends, despite their families hatred for each other. However, the neighbors of Buenaventura are in danger of losing their homes, their school and much more, because the evil old Severiano plans to tear down the neighborhood and build an enormous shopping mall in its place. To accomplish his plan, Severiano is willing to resort to any means, and will provoke a series of disasters to drive the inhabitants away.

Lying Heart

Mariela Salvatierra is an orphan and was only 11 when her grandfather Manuel died because of Demián Ferrer. From October 6, 2009 to February 17, 2010, Univision broadcast Sortilegio weeknights at 9pm/8c. From July 30 to September 7, 2012, Univision broadcast 2 hour reruns of Sortilegio weekdays at 1pm/12c, replacing Corazón Apasionado. From September 10 to October 19, 2012, reruns of Sortilegio were broadcast at 2pm/1c.

La Madrastra

La Madrastra is a Mexican telenovela. It was produced by Televisa and broadcast on Canal de las Estrellas in Mexico from 7 February 2005 through 29 July 2005. The program became an unexpected success, garnering ratings in excess of 30 points. Starring Victoria Ruffo and César Évora, who last appeared together in 2000's Abrázame muy fuerte, La madrastra tells the story of María, a woman who lost twenty years of her life after being falsely accused of murder and who returns to Mexico to exact revenge on her husband and friends who abandoned her and to see her beloved children once more. La Madrastra is fourth in a series of remakes of the 1981 Chilean production of the same name. The program aired five nights a week, Monday through Friday, at 9 pm for 25 weeks. A follow-up special, La madrastra: años después, aired shortly after the finale on 30 July 2005.
