Tropical Heat
Tropical Heat is a Canadian action series The plot revolves around private investigator, ex-DEA agent Nick Slaughter who after arriving in the fictional resort town of Key Mariah, Florida and setting up a detective agency there, met up with local tourist agent Sylvie Girard to solve a variety of different cases.

1. Hard Case
Sergeant Olli Porter from Philadelphia arrives to Mariah Key chasing the killer. He asks Sylvie and Nick for help.
2. Fowl Play
An animal activist tracks smugglers, that import very rare parrots from South America over Key Mariah to the USA.
3. Death's a Beach
Sylvie Girard works for a travel agency. She rented a big yacht that wasn't hers to a guy who has disapeared. She asks Nick Slaughter, a private investigator, to find him. Otherwise she will be in a big trouble.
4. Family Affair
Nick and Sylvie are supposed to find a brother of their new client.
5. Roll of the Dice
3 men want to get the license for building a casino on Key Mariah.One of them is the Mafioso Bruno Gateaux. But also the businessman Winston Drake who works with slush funds. Sylvie falls in love with Drake and wants to leave Nick in order to work for Drake in the casino. But Drake puts her in danger. At their dinner for two, someone shoots at them and they can hardly rescue themselves. Sylvie doesn't realize that Drake had staged the attack and she also doesn't know that there is a bomb in the case with money she takes to Nick as indemnity for losing his partner.
6. Double Time
Nick's new love; Mina, believes in the power of Tarot cards. But for Nick they aren't good. His alleged destiny is that everyone around him is in danger. Soon the prophecy seems to come true: Nick and Sylvie follow Alex Crane's wife. But instead of proving that she has an affair with an other man they see how the attractive Mrs Crane is killed by her ""friend"". Nick and Sylvie are now going to catch the mysterious murderer.
7. Forget Me Not
Ian finds a young woman who had escaped from a man and had fallen from the wharf. She hasn't any money, no identity card and she doesn't know who she is. Ian asks Nick and Sylvie for help.The only leads are a small bottle of perfume and an inscribed piece of paper.
8. For a Song
Ian's ex-girlfriend arrives to Mariah Key. She claims that she needs money to pay her debts. She wants Ian to sell the rights of their band's hit song.
9. Marissa
A strange woman hires Nick to stop her husband who wants to murder her. However, after some investigating, Nick finds evidence that she might be insane. But what if she isn't?
