After a heart-to-heart with Huainan about courtship, Luo Zhi turns down his invitation. Mingrui confronts Xu Riqing about her feelings for Huainan.

Jake and Tiffany's mother, Zhu Yan, opens up to Luo Zhi about a painful episode from her past. Mingrui helps Huainan join Luo Zhi's case study group.
5. Episode 5
Xu Riqing observes Huainan and Luo Zhi in rehearsal and begins to understand how he truly feels. Ye Zhanyan asks Huainan to get back together with her.

Luo Zhi reflects on her childhood memories of Huainan, and while the duo's bond strengthens, Zhanyan remains unwavering in her pursuit of Huainan.

Chen Mohan uses her illness to win Ge Bi's attention. Luo Zhi asks Luo Yang whether he knows Ding Shuijing.

Zhanyan confronts Luo Zhi and reveals her troubled connection with Zhu Yan. Jiang Baili suspects Chen Mohan is lying about her illness.

Shuijing hands Huainan a voice recording that causes a misunderstanding between Luo Zhi and Huainan.

Zhanyan spins a twisted yarn in an attempt to cement Huainan's suspicions about Luo Zhi. Chen Jing confronts Shuijing.

Luo Zhi goes home to pay respect at her dad's grave. Thanks to a photo on his buddy's laptop, Huainan learns it was Luo Zhi who helped him on exam day.

At their old school, Shuijing opens up to Luo Zhi about the source of her grudge. On the bus, Huainan grabs Luo Zhi's suitcase to make her speak to him.
13. Episode 13
Mohan offers to help Ge Bi with the student council event planning. Huainan attempts to apologize to Luo Zhi.
14. Episode 14
Gu Zhiye approaches Luo Zhi at the student reception, which ends in a wreck. Ge Bi bristles at Mohan's micromanaging.
15. Episode 15
Gu Zhiye offers Baili consolation. As Shuijing watches from afar, Luo Yang surprises Chen Jing at dinner.
16. Episode 16
In a heated argument, Mingrui and Riqing confess their true feelings. Huainan follows Luo Zhi to Zhu Yan's house and helps her babysit.
17. Episode 17
Huainan solves the mystery behind Zhanyan's necklace and retrieves a long-lost item of Luo Zhi's. Ge Bi waxes nostalgic about Baili.

Luo Zhi is moved by Huainan's sentimental gestures during their date, but his mom intends to throw a wrench into their relationship.

Back in their hometown and old school, Luo Zhi and Huainan walk down memory lane. Baili spurns Ge Bi's attempt to make amends.
