After her ex-cop father is murdered on Christmas Eve, Komugi finds a letter hinting at a dark conspiracy and teams up with a lawyer to uncover the truth.

1. Episode 1
On Christmas Eve, Komugi shares a joyful meal with her father, Haruo. Later, she returns home to find her house engulfed in flames and Haruo dead.

2. Episode 2
Magazine reporter Kamii approaches Komugi with a provocative offer: information about her father's secret past if she helps with his article.

3. Episode 3
From a DNA test report, Komugi learns she might not be related to someone in her family. Meanwhile, the police keep tabs on the owner of a food stall.

4. Episode 4
While lawyer Matsukaze gets a tip from Kamii that alters his investigation of Haruo's murder, food stall owner Someda reveals his past to Komugi.

5. Episode 5
When tragedy derails her investigation, Komugi tracks down a lawyer from the Higashikayama case with Matsukaze. Prosecutor Anan rushes to charge Tomoya.

6. Episode 6
Before another lawyer offers help to Komugi, Anan questions her directly. Elsewhere, detective Akazawa learns that Kamii knows details about his past.

7. Episode 7
After Kamii shares photos of her birth records from her Maternal and Child Health Handbook, Komugi realizes two names are also in her father's letter.

8. Episode 8
After the latest fire, Matsukaze takes a surprising trip when he suspects Akazawa's involvement. Kamii shares a key lead he uncovers with Tomoya.

9. Episode 9
As Komugi pursues the final name in Haruo's letter, Anan settles a personal score. Later, stunning revelations emerge from a past indictment.

10. Episode 10
When the heartbreaking truth about the Togayama case gets revealed, Komugi finally answers the burning questions about her past and her father's death.
