WordGirl
Disguised as mild-mannered fifth-grader Becky Botsford, WordGirl arrived on Earth when she and her monkey sidekick Captain Huggy Face crashed their spaceship. Now they fight crime and defend the town from a plethora of madcap villains and scoundrels, while at the same time enriching viewers' vocabulary usage.

WordGirl gets into a battle of wits with Tobey, a boy genius. Then she takes on the Butcher, who is hosting a free barbecue as part of an evil plot.

WordGirl has to guess a secret code word to keep Chuck the Evil Sandwich-Making Guy from crushing City Hall. Also: WordGirl pursues Dr. Two Brains after he escapes from a prison.

3. Coupon Madness / When Life Gives You Potatoes
WordGirl faces off against Granny May, who prints fake coupons to get things for free. Also: Dr. Two Brains escapes from prison and develops a weapon that turns gold into cheese.

4. Jerky Jerk/Becky's Birthday
The Butcher tries to steal an artifact from a museum; Becky's parents plan a surprise birthday party for her, but she's busy battling an energy monster.

5. Chuck! / Down With Word Up
Granny May goes on a crime spree and convinces the townsfolk that WordGirl is the culprit; Chuck the Evil Sandwich-Making Guy tries to steal some gold.

Wordgirl tries to figure out Mr. Big's latest scheme after he introduces a product that doesn't appear to do anything. Also: Tobey uses robots to keep people out of the town library.

Becky is grounded, so Captain Huggy Face takes over for WordGirl. But he's no match for the Butcher. Also, Dr. Two Brains creates an army of intelligent mice and WordGirl must stop them from taking over the city.

The Butcher faces off against a rival villain, the Masked Meat Marauder; and Chuck the Evil Sandwich-Making Guy builds an evil lair and tries to trap WordGirl.

Chuck is bored with pilfering sandwiches all of the time, so creates a new criminal identity for himself; The Butcher gets together with two of his old friends, and the mischievous trio can't resist annoying the town with a series of pranks.

Team Botsford competes against Team Heaslip in the citywide scavenger hunt while Dr. Two-Brains and Tobey create a mouse robot to steal all of the city's cheese. Then, the Coach opens a school for villains.

24. The Return of the Reprise of Lady Redundant Woman / A Simple Plan
Lady Redundant Woman escapes from jail and plots to be named belle of the Triple Dip Ball; after several complicated robberies fail, Dr. Two-Brains returns to the basics: stealing cheese from the grocery store.

25. Granny Mayor / Tobey Goes Good
WordGirl steps into the fray when Granny May manipulates her way into becoming the mayor's senior aide and gets him to enact laws that help villains. Then Tobey enters a contest in hopes of winning WordGirl's heart.

26. Bongo Rock / Dr. Three-Brains
The Season 1 finale finds WordGirl joining forces with none other than Dr. Two-Brains when Glen Furlblam, who now calls himself Dr. Three-Brains, swipes Two-Brain's blackout ray. Then WordGirl and Capt. Huggy Face battle Chuck and Mr. Big.
