In this transformation show disguised as a cooking competition, the chefs compete in strategic challenges where they must put their egos on the back burner as they go head to head in the kitchen - all in pursuit of a life-changing cash prize.

1. Control Freaks
Twelve talented chefs nominated by co-workers and loved ones for their tempers, stubbornness and egos enter the kitchen to work on themselves and their food; first, they work in teams to create a four-course menu for the judges.
2. Martha's Roast
The chefs enter the kitchen to find Martha cooking her famous roasted chicken; each team must prepare five appetizers one at a time to go with the roast; timing is key in this challenge and the chefs need to trust each other to succeed.
3. What's In The Box?
Egos are tested in the kitchen when the chefs are presented with mystery boxes; Martha and José offer the captains a risky choice.
