The distinctive traits of the Doroshin family are hard work, courage, and principledness. Shortly after the wedding, Avdey realizes that he made a fatal mistake and is trying to return to Fedosya, but she cannot forgive. Filipp was taken into the army, on the border where Filipp serves, an armed violation of the border occurs, during which he dies.

The Newlywed

Based on the story of the same name by Yuri Nagibin. Sergei Voronov comes to the floodplains of the Dniester to hunt. He is here for the first time, and he is recommended by the huntsman Vasiliy, nicknamed "Newlywed". In the evening, by the fire, the men started talking about wives.
