Biography
Martin P. Robinson (born March 9, 1954) is a puppeteer for the Jim Henson Company. He originally built, designed, and performed the puppets for Little Shop of Horrors. He is perhaps best known for his work on Sesame Street. He has performed the characters of Telly Monster, Slimey the Worm, Mr. Snuffleupagus, and Tony The Turtle on the show for more than 20 years. He also performed the character Riff on Allegra's Window, and was an animatronic puppeteer for Leonardo in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He is the puppeteer responsible for training the puppeteers on Sesame Tree. He was born on March 9, 1954 in Dearborn, Michigan. Graduated from Brookfield East High School, in Brookfield, Wisconsin, suburb of Milwaukee. He was married to Annie Evans on August 9, 2008 on the set of Sesame Street, in the Kaufman Astoria Studios in Queens, NY. Description above from the Wikipedia article Martin P. Jim Henson's Memorial Service
Following Jim Henson's passing on May 16th 1990, two public memorial services were held. The first (featured here) was held in New York at Cathedral of St. John the Divine on May 21, 1990. The second service was held in London at St. Paul's Cathedral on July 2nd 1990.

Sesame Street 1986 Wrap Party
Rare footage from the Sesame Street season 18 cast and crew wrap party. 1986 When the Sesame Street cast and crew finish taping a season, they traditionally celebrate with a wrap party where they have dinner, watch a reel of outtakes and highlights from the season, and enjoy live skits that often poke fun at the show. In addition, toasts are exchanged, and awards and bottles of wine are presented to people who got engaged, married or had babies since the last party. In the earliest days of the show, Richard Hunt took it upon himself to provide entertainment for the parties, for one party, cameraman Frank Biondo was given the role of introducing one of Hunt's acts and from then on, he served as the organizer and emcee for the live show, eventually he was granted a full stage so they could set up the show. Includes an "adult version" of the song People in your neighborhood, sung by Bob McGrath.

Allegra's Window
Allegra's Window is a children's television series that aired on Nick Jr. from October 24, 1994 to May 1, 1996, with reruns airing from May 2, 1996 to June 1998 and later airing on Noggin from February 2, 1999 to April 2003. The show deals with the daily life of a precocious, imaginative puppet named Allegra, and featured live actors, puppets and animation ala Sesame Street. The show was created by Jan Fleming, John Hoffman and Jim Jinkins. The series also spawned a series of music videos aired during interstitials that aired on Nick Jr.
