The mysterious newcomer Vincent attracts the unwelcome attention of the Kemble Gang, a bunch of notorious brigands who control the locality. Vincent finds himself captured - and staked out to die on the treacherous Gull Beach.
2. The Right Price (Part Two)
Having escaped from the Kemble Gang's clutches, Honesty makes a desperate bid to save Vincent's life. He must be quick - the tide is entering Gull Beach and Vincent faces a watery death.
3. Forced Run
During a dangerous smuggling expedition to France, Jack finds a stowaway on board.
4. The Respectable Traitor (Part One)
Sarah's grandfather is accused of being a French spy. Suspecting that the Kembles are behind the accusations, Sarah begs Vincent to help. But Jack has other things to occupy his mind: Revenue man Marwood is after his blood.
5. The Respectable Traitor (Part Two)
Discovering that the Kembles are in league with a French spy - whose identity is known to him - Vincent sets out to prove König's innocence by facing the villains in their own stronghold.
6. Press Gang
When Honesty Evans is forced into taking a navy commission by a press gang, Vincent has to find a way freeing him - without breaking the law.
7. In at the Death
Helping out an old smuggler called Rummy Culbert results in Vincent almost being caught by revenue officer Taggart.

Honesty's interest in Sophia, a spoilt young girl staying with Sarah, leads to trouble.

Jack is determined to get his hands on a sunken cargo of rum - but he must beat a number of other interested parties to the prize.

Jack has to try to rescue Sarah and her grandfather, who are being held by a rabble of shipwrecked convicts.

A pair of sailors turn up from Jack's past accusing him of treachery, but are they telling the truth?
12. Straw Man (Part One)
Vincent rescues revenue officer Arrow from an attack by cut-throats, but when a second attempt on Arrow's life proves successful, Jack finds himself accused of murder.
13. Straw Man (Part Two)
The evidence against Jack is compelling, but he continues to deny all knowledge of Arrow's murder. Arrow's friends arrange for Jack to be shot while 'attempting to escape'.
